Estimating weight of trout

To use the chart: measure the length of the fish in inches, and the girth around the widest part of the fish. Look up the length of the fish along the top, read it, slide down to the girth measurement (shown on the left column) that corresponds with your fish, the number shown is the estimated weight in pounds. For example: a fish 20" long with a girth of 14" would be estimated at 5.2 pounds in weight.
