Newsletter The club publishes a monthly newsletter, The Conejo Valley FlyFisher with information about upcoming speakers, fly fishing reports, and other articles of interest to members.

Conservation - CVFF members help promote fly fishing with CalTrout and other organizations and assist California DF&G in fish counts and other projects.

DFG Volunteer work. CVFF members assist the California Department of Fish and Game in conducting electroshock stream surveys. NEW

Fund raiser- Auction - The club raises money for its activities and for  Cal Trout and other organizations.

Trout in the Classroom - The club supplies aquaria and trout eggs to local classrooms so students can learn about the life cycle of fish. The classes go on a field trip to release the trout.

Fly tying - The club meets the following Wednesday the week after the general meeting of each month at Sunset Hills CC at 6:30 p.m. for a fly tying session. This is a good opportunity to ask for help from some of our expert tiers.   Many of our speakers also give fly-tying demos before the regular meeting.

Fly casting - The club sponsors a fly casting clinic in April.  Members assist beginners with casting, or contact Wayne at Malibu Fish'n Tackle for information about times and cost of his fly fishing and casting classes.
